It didn’t matter how old one was, if you were sharing the same roof as your parents church on Sunday was a must. There was no debate about it as this was the chance our parents had to outshine each other with our success stories. After church the amount of plastic smiles one had to front to the many women who oohed and aaahed at how tall you had grown )from last Sunday) and how you should study harder. The dress code was another issue, one had to look presentable, very presentable as most mums were members of the Women’s Guild and eyes would be on us.
Cheka TV are really good at what they do, can’t wait for our next dose on Thursday … Definitely good food for the soul.
